But as good as those phones are — and the Galaxy S22 Ultra in particular is challenging for a spot among the best phones — you'll find other appealing Samsung devices at a whole range of different prices.

From the more affordable Galaxy A midrange models to Samsung's foldable phones, there's a device on the list of best Samsung phones that can meet your budget and your needs.

Now that the Galaxy Samsung 2022 models are shipping, it's time to consider which Samsung device to get. We've got a list of reasons to buy and skip the Galaxy S22 as well as why you might want to buy the Samsung 2022 S22 Ultra, if you're trying to decide among the latest phones.

We can also show you the Galaxy S22 features to enable right away if you've got the phone in hand. No matter what model has caught your eye, picking the best Samsung phone for you comes down to figuring out what kind of phone you're looking for and how much you're willing to pay.

No matter what the answers to those questions are, there's likely a device for your needs among the best Samsung phones.

And if you do pick one up, make sure you check out what the first app you should install on your Samsung Galaxy phone is and all of other Samsung hidden features that will change the way you use samsung 2022 phone. What are the best Samsung phones? The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the ultimate Samsung flagship, and its our pick for the best Samsung phone right now. If you don't want to pay more than $1,000 for a phone, the Galaxy S22 Plus gives you a big-screen device that's less expensive than the Ultra, and the Galaxy S22 lets you save even more, samsung 2022 the lowest price among Samsung flagships.

There are cheaper options than the S22. The Galaxy S21 FE gives you a way to enjoy the key features of Samsung's flagship lineup, though it draws its inspiration from last year's S21 lineup. A better choice would be the Galaxy A53, which gives you a capable 5G phone for less than $500.

As for Samsung's foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the more impressive addition to Samsung's phone lineup, thanks to a giant screen that offers a 120Hz refresh rate.

But the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is still a compelling option, thanks largely to its lower price tag. You can now order a customized version of the Z Flip 3 where you get to pick your own color combination, if you're willing to pay a little bit more. While the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 are no longer Samsung's latest, they do have a new advantage. Samsung U.S. has just announced these two phones will be eligible for a self-repair initiative where you can order official parts and tools and fix up common problems by yourself.

The best Samsung phones you can buy right now Less RAM than previous model Samsung 2022 for the best Samsung phone? Then look no further than the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the crown jewel in Samsung’s new lineup of flagship phones. The S22 Ultra rises to the top of our list by drawing upon an old familiar phone to Samsung fans — the design looks like a Galaxy Note model, right down to the slot for the included S Pen. This is more than just a rehash of the Galaxy Note, though, as the Galaxy S22 Ultra delivers the brightest display we’ve yet tested, a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and terrific camera improvements.

The larger sensor on the new Ultra’s main camera lets in more light for better low-light photography, and we also appreciate software improvements like the more advanced Portrait mode.

We wish battery samsung 2022 was a little better, though we appreciate that Samsung has gone back to 45W charging for this samsung 2022.

All told, this is a fine phone that should appeal to any Samsung fan who wants the best possible handset. Read our full Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra review. Below-average battery life As good as the Galaxy S22 Ultra is, it also has the second-highest starting price of any new Samsung phone — only the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will cost you more out of the gate.

While you certainly get what you pay for with the Ultra, you can get a lot of the same features for hundreds of dollars less with the Galaxy S22. The Galaxy S22 boasts the same chipset found in more expensive S22 models, and it also has a brighter screen than its predecessor, even if the S22 Ultra and S22 Plus outshine it.

Samsung also samsung 2022 the cameras on the Galaxy S22, which takes excellent low-light photos and compelling portrait shots. Unlike other flagship phones in its price range, the Galaxy S22 even has a dedicated telephoto lens which now supports a 3x optical zoom.

You won’t get the fast wired charging found in other Galaxy S22 models, and the S22’s battery life leaves a little bit to be desired. But at $799, this model delivers the right balance of premium features and value for your money. Read our full Samsung Galaxy S22 review. Battery life samsung 2022 better than last year It’s tempting to overlook the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, wedged as it is between the low-cost Galaxy S22 and the feature-packed Galaxy S22 Ultra.

But make no mistake — the Galaxy S22 Plus is a stellar Samsung phone in its own right. Owners of last year’s S21 Plus may not notice much of a difference, but if you’ve had the same phone for more than two years, the Galaxy S22 Plus can offer you a premium experience without the Ultra’s stratospheric price tag. You get the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that powers the S22 Ultra, and while the latter phone has more sophisticated camera specs, the Galaxy S22 Plus can hold its own, particularly when it comes to low-light photography.

You also can enjoy the same bright display samsung 2022 fast 45W charging found in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, but for $200 less. The Samsung 2022 S22 Plus is the big-screen phone to get if you can’t swing the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

It’s proof again samsung 2022 Samsung really know its way around a device with welcoming display. Read our full Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus review. Pointless macro and depth sensors Samsung 2022 continues to show that it’s serious about midrange phones with the Galaxy A53.

Opt for this model and you can get a device with a screen that refreshes at 120Hz and delivers reasonable performance for hundreds less than what Samsung charges for one of its flagships. Yes, the $449 price of the Galaxy A53 means some compromises, such as a less powerful Exynos 1280 chipset instead of the top-of-the-line Snapdragon silicon found in the Galaxy S22 series. We also wish Samsung didn’t include a superfluous macro camera with the A53’s array of lenses.

But that low price — equal to the Pixel 5a’s cost — is hard to beat, especially in a phone that comes with a solid design and a generous amount of software updates. If you’re a Samsung fan in search of bargains, the Galaxy A53 is the phone to get.

Read our full Samsung Galaxy A53 review. Still expensive Samsung’s premium foldable phone remains the Galaxy Z Fold 3, especially now that the new version has added 120Hz displays both inside and out.

What’s more, the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 is more durable than ever, thanks to an IPX8 water resistance rating, The Armor Aluminum body is stronger than before while the phone’s use of a Gorilla Glass Victus display should reduce the likelihood of scratches and other damage.

One of the best things Samsung did was to convince more app makers to optimize their software to work with the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s foldable display. You’ll see popular apps like Spotify and TikTok now take advantage of the Z Fold 3’s unique form factor.

Samsung added S Pen support, too, and while the main display certainly gives you a lot of real estate for sketching and taking notes, it’s a shame the stylus is an optional accessory (meaning you’ll have to pay extra to pick up both an S Pen and a case for holding the stylus). Battery life on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 could be better, and while the debut price is lower than what it was for the Galaxy Z Fold 2, $1,799 is still a lot to pay for the phone. Nevertheless, if you want a premium device that gives you plenty of screen to work with, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the best Samsung phone yet to offer a foldable display.

Read our full Samsung 2022 Galaxy Z Fold 3 review. Hard to recommend with Galaxy S22 launch looming You don't need to pay full price to get the big features in the Galaxy S21 lineup. For $100 less than the standard Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21 FE lets you enjoy a Snapdragon 888 processor, a fast-refreshing display and cameras that can hold their own against the top samsung 2022 phones. There are some trade-offs.

Samsung puts less RAM in this device than in its other Galaxy S21 models, and the refresh rate on the 6.4-inch display is not adaptive — you have to manually adjust it. And that can adversely affect battery life. Still, everything else you'd want in a Samsung phone is here with a larger screen than what you get with the standard S21.

With the Galaxy S22 debuting at $799, there's only a $100 difference from the Galaxy S21 FE. That's not a lot to pay for a more updated phone, but if you can't go any higher than $699, at least the Galaxy S21 FE still delivers plenty of features for less than you'd expect to pay.

Read our full Samsung Samsung 2022 S21 FE review. Subpar HD+ display The Galaxy A53 isn't Samsung's cheapest 5G phone. That would be last year's Galaxy A32 5G, a sub-$300 option that sports many things people love about Galaxy phones, but with some corners cut to keep the price down. The biggest downside is the underwhelming display.

The size combined with the low resolution doesn't look great in person. However, if you're strapped for cash and want a phone with decent cameras, the Galaxy A32 5G is one you should consider. With its big 6.5-inch screen, the A32 is not a small phone.

But it packs a 5,000 mAh battery that lasts a really long time — almost 12 hours in our testing with its adaptive refresh rate enabled. You can also expect the Galaxy A32 to go for longer than many other budget options, with Samsung promising three years of Android updates and four years of security patches. While there's a newer model coming later in April, the Galaxy A33 isn't slated to ship outside of Europe. So the Galaxy A32 might be your only choice if the A53 is still to rich for your blood.

Read our full Galaxy A32 5G review. No telephoto lens The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is the first “affordable” foldable phone. Starting at $999, it offers top-end specs and the ability to fold in half horizontally. This makes for a very pocketable device that packs a serious punch. That said, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has notable flaws, such as its short battery life.

In our testing, it lasted for just 6 hours when the display was locked at 60Hz. And the Flip 3 lacks a telephoto lens, unlike other phones at this price range. But the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a novel thing.

The phone can become even more novel if you opt for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition. This $1,099 version lets you choose the colors of the frame as well as the front and back panel — there are 49 color combinations in all.

Samsung bills this option as a way to add your own unique flair to an already unique-looking device. Read our full Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 review. Samsung 2022 to choose the best Samsung phones Picking which Samsung phone to buy is primarily driven by budget considerations.

You're not going to spring for a Galaxy S22 Ultra, for example, if you're not prepared with at least $1,199 even if you opt to spread those payments out over time. But other factors need to be taken into consideration as well. Start with how you use your smartphone. If it's primarily a productivity device, the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3 are appealing, despite their high price tags, because they both support the S Pen. (The S22 Ultra now comes with an S Pen, in fact.) If you turn to your phone for photography, the Galaxy S series is usually first in line for Samsung's camera innovations, and all three S22 models offer impressive camera features.

Budget-minded shoppers will want to look at the Galaxy S21 FE, which costs samsung 2022 less than its fellow Samsung flagships. For a lower cost and a step down on some more features, there's the Galaxy A lineup. You can also find discounts on Samsung phones by buying directly from the phone maker and trading in your current device.

Check out the best Samsung phone deals for the latest savings. With the Galaxy S22 now shipping, our attention can turn to future Samsung phones.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 aren't due out until the summer, and they may be joined by an entirely new foldable from Samsung that features an expandable screen. How we test Samsung phones To find the best Samsung phones, we test the company's handsets the same way we test every smartphone we review. We run benchmarks on each phone, including synthetic benchmarks like Geekbench 5 and 3DMark to measure graphics performance. That allows us to compare Samsung device to other phones, including Apple's iPhone.

In addition, we use real-world testing that includes a video transcoding test using Adobe Premiere Rush. In our lab, we measure the brightness of the phone's display (in nits), as well as how colorful each screen is (using the sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamut).

In these cases, higher numbers are better. We also measure color accuracy of each panel with a Delta-E samsung 2022, where lower numbers are better and score of 0 is perfect. To determine how long a Samsung phone's battery lasts, we have the phones continuously surf the web over LTE with their screens set to 150 nits of brightness.

The average smartphone lasts for 10 hours, with the best phone battery life reaching 11 hours or more in our testing.

Our camera testing involves taking photos with each Samsung phone we review and comparing them to similar shots from comparable models. We take shots of landscapes, food, portraits and more, samsung 2022 also allow you to be the judge with side-by-side comparisons in our reviews. Apart from a couple of notable exceptions, Samsung's 2022 plans remain mysterious at samsung 2022 moment, unlike the repeatedly exposed plans of rival Apple in 2022. Samsung 2022, we can still make some educated guesses on what products Samsung will offer in the new year, and what exciting developments it will have to share. Read on for our preview of Samsung in 2022, including the most anticipated devices and what rumors we've heard so far.

(Image credit: Technizo Concept/LetsGoDigital) Let's start with an obvious one: a new line of flagship Galaxy S handsets. The Galaxy S22 is a given based on samsung 2022 torrent of leaks we've been seeing over the samsung 2022 several months.

The basic S22 and S22 Plus are expected to get the latest Snapdragon 8 Series Gen 1 chip along with upgraded cameras. But the Galaxy S22 Samsung 2022 should see a greater transformation into a Galaxy Note-like device with a built-in stylus and a wider body.

On the cheaper side, we should also finally see the Galaxy S21 FE arrive in early 2022 (or so the rumors say). This handset will reportedly offer users a slightly outdated flagship experience compared to the S22, but with plenty of power and premium features combined with a cheaper asking price, it'll suit a slightly different group of Samsung users.

We've pulled together a list of the 5 biggest upgrades we expect on the Galaxy S21 FE if you want to know more. (Image credit: Let's Go Digital) We anticipate another pair of foldables from Samsung next year, building on the success of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3.

The clamshell Z Flip and the book-style Z Fold already have a substantial lead over other foldable phones, but hopefully Samsung won't sit back and will make welcome changes to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Things like a more effective version of this year's futuristic under-display camera on the Z Fold 3. Beyond samsung 2022 to these two existing models, there have been rumors for some time of a cheaper full-size foldable, to sit between the two current models.

This tentatively named Galaxy Z Fold Lite could be just the thing to help grow foldable uptake by smartphone users by making the experience more affordable. Samsung in 2022: Galaxy A series (Image credit: Samsung) Samsung will also need to refresh samsung 2022 mid-range phones in the coming year, presumably opting for a Galaxy Ax3 naming convention, like the newly announced Galaxy A13 5G.

The current Galaxy A range also includes the Galaxy A32, Galaxy A42 and Galaxy A52, as well as the Europe-only Galaxy A72, so that's a whole bunch of potentially new phones to look forward to. These phones aren't the cutting edge devices that the Galaxy S or Galaxy Z models are, but their focus on display, camera and battery still means you get a good deal on Samsung's high-quality hardware.

They also help provide an alternative choice to other great cheaper Android phones like the Google Pixel 5a or the OnePlus Nord 2. Samsung in 2022: Galaxy Tab Samsung in 2022: Galaxy Tab tablets (Image credit: Evan Blass) Don't forget about Samsung's tablets.

They may not be as ubiquitous as iPads, but they're samsung 2022 some of the best Android tablets you can buy. Similar to its phones, Samsung offers yearly updates to its Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab S tablets, but there hasn't been a big refresh samsung 2022 2020, with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S7 FE remaining the company's current tablets. Rumors of the Galaxy Tab S8 have been circulating though, with particular focus on the new top model — the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, and its new notched design.

This sounds like a big update for Samsung, and one that should be its best attempt yet at dethroning the iPad Pro. Samsung in 2022: Wearables Samsing in 2022: Galaxy Buds (Image credit: Regan Coule/Future) Samsung's still quite new to the true wireless earbud space, but it somehow already offers four different models. The newest are the Galaxy Buds 2, so we're unlikely to see another entry level pair of 'buds in 2022.

It's the same story with the Galaxy Buds Pro, which debuted at the start of the current year. However the Galaxy Buds Plus and Galaxy Buds Live will both turn two years old in 2022, meaning the time may be ripe for Samsung to update these mid-range 'buds to better tackle rivals like the newly released AirPods 3.

Samsung in 2022: Galaxy Watch (Image credit: Future) This year's been a big one for Samsung's smartwatches, thanks to the Galaxy Watch 4 series ditching Samsung's proprietary Tizen OS to move over to a new version of Google's Wear OS, developed in tandem with Google itself. The next Galaxy Watch, presumably named the Galaxy Watch 5, hasn't been the subject of any rumors yet.

However there's one feature we hope will finally appear after being rumored for the Galaxy Watch 4: blood glucose tracking. Keeping an eye on blood sugar levels would be of great benefit to fitness-conscious users, and could be a useful back-up tool for diabetic users too. Samsung in 2022: Laptops Samsung in 2022: Laptops (Image credit: Future) Samsung's Windows-powered Galaxy Book line and its lightweight Samsung Chromebooks are effective laptops for productivity or entertainment, particularly when used in tandem with other Samsung devices.

With Windows 11 about to take over from Windows 10, it'll be interesting to see how Samsung makes use of the new features, but there's also a rumor of a new kind of laptop in the works. Leaker IceUniverse claims that a 17-inch foldable Samsung laptop is on the cards for early next year. We've not seen a true foldable laptop available for purchase yet (the closest we've got is laptops with 360-degree hinges), but given how Samsung's really hit its stride with foldable phones in the past couple of years, we're looking forward to seeing how this translates to a laptop.

Samsung in 2022: TVs (Image credit: Samsung) Samsung has been staking out new technologies for the last several years, and some of those long-term plans will likely come to fruition in 2022.

The biggest of these is QD-OLED, an innovative take on traditional OLED displays that combines the per-pixel lighting of OLED with the color and brightness boosting qualities of quantum dots. Samsung has been developing the new display tech for years, but has started initial manufacturing of the new panel in late 2020, and is expected to showcase the new technology at CES in January.

MicroLED will also make advances, but with current models commanding stratospheric prices, it still has a long way to go before the OLED competitor starts showing up in affordable consumer devices. Samsung even scrapped plans for a smaller 70-inch 4K micro-LED TV this year. For now, MicroLED TVs are more of a proof-of-concept samsung 2022 a product anybody will want to buy.

For most shoppers, Samsung's biggest development in 2021 was Neo QLED — as seen in the Editor's Choice-winning Samsung QN90A Neo QLED TV that tops our list of the best Samsung 2022. Neo QLED weds mini-LED backlighting with Samsung's excellent quantum dot enhanced displays for truly excellent picture quality and brightness, and is a big step forward from normal QLED displays. Neo QLED will continue to advance in 2022, but Samsung's lower-end models will still use the inferior dual-LED backlight to keep profit margins high, with Samsung reserving the better technology for its flagship 4K and 8K sets.

Finally, we can expect Samsung's 8K sets to get more affordable. The company already makes some of the best 8K TVs, with some of the most affordable models on the market, with 65-inch screen size options for the QN900A and QN800A that launched at $4,999 and $3,499 respectively, but have dropped as low as $2,699 for the holidays.

We expect a similar lineup in 2022, with perhaps a lower cost of entry on the cheapest models. (Whether there will be any 8K content to play on those high-resolution models is another question entirely.) According to new information, these TVs should be available starting at the end of March and early April, with a global rollout following shortly.

New this year are updated versions of the award-winning Samsung QN900A and Samsung QN90A QLED TVs and a few roll-over models from last year like The Premiere projector, The Terrace outdoor TV and The Serif. We’re hopeful about Samsung’s TV output for 2022, then, given that 2021 was a pretty stellar year for the brand. 2021 saw the launch of the stunningly impressive (albeit very expensive) Samsung Neo QN800 8K QLED TV, alongside new 4K beauties like the mini-LED-infused QN95A Neo QLED 4K TV.

(Image credit: Samsung) Samsung’s new MicroLED TV is set to be its flagship panel for 2022, and how could it not be? Announced at CES 2022, the brand’s line-up of MicroLED TVs come in three sizes: 89-inch, 101-inch and an enormous 110-inch.

Samsung has been understandably boisterous about its samsung 2022 tech, too, calling MicroLED “the pinnacle of display technology”. So, what is MicroLED? The name can be taken quite literally, as Samsung’s MicroLED TVs will be packed with 25 million micrometer-sized LEDs, all of which individually produce color and light. Paired with support for 20-bit greyscale depth, and this is a TV that has potential to go above and beyond the HDR standards of today.

As for features, we know that Samsung’s Micro-LED TV sports a 4K picture and 120Hz refresh rate, is equipped with four HDMI ports and supports Dolby Atmos immersive sound. A samsung 2022 standard feature set for a high-end 4K TV, then - and yes, you can expect Samsung’s Micro-LED TV to launch with a steep price tag.

For those of you on a stricter budget, Samsung will also have much more affordable TVs in its 2022 repertoire. Samsung TV 2022: Neo QLED TVs (Image credit: Samsung) Samsung is carrying on its Neo QLED efforts in 2022.

Understandable, considering the brand’s 2021 line-up of Neo QLED TVs were some of the best released that year, including the aforementioned Samsung QN95A Neo QLED 4K TV. What's more is we now know Samsung's Neo QLED models for 2022, and we'll samsung 2022 choices between three 8K and three 4K TVs.

The new range consists of the QN95B, QN90B and QN85B. The QN95B and QN85B Neo QLED TVs will be available in 55, 65, 75 and 85-inch sizes. That goes for the QN90B, too, but that model will also feature smaller 43 and 50-inch sizes, too. We still don't have prices, unfortunately, but we do know that all six Neo QLED models will launch on April 8 in Europe.

No US release dates have been confirmed as of yet, but it's likely we'll know more on that front as we approach the pre-order live date on March 16. In terms of specs, Samsung is making improvements to its bespoke Neo Quantum Processor, with advanced contrast mapping via the BLU (back-light unit). This essentially means that you’ll have greater control over the TV’s brightness levels, allowing you to fine tune your TV’s brightness and get your picture looking just right.

Samsung isn’t stopping there with its 2022 Neo QLEDs, however. New Shape Adaptive Light technology controls the “shape” of the light coming from individual Quantum Mini LEDs, essentially enhancing the accuracy of objects on the screen, allowing for a more realistic picture than ever before.

Another interesting advancement is Samsung’s Real Depth Enhancer, a technology that attempts to analyze samsung 2022 distance between objects on screen and create a sense of depth for a realistic picture. Throw in an EyeComfort mode - which automatically adjusts screen brightness in a similar way to blue light filters found on monitors and phones - and Samsung’s 2022 Neo Samsung 2022 seem to be packed to the gills with new features.

Samsung 2022 not just visuals that are seeing an upgrade with the new QLEDs, though, as sound is potentially getting a major buff, too. Samsung’s Object Tracking Sound is being improved with OTS Pro, which should produce a powerful surround sound when paired with the TVs’ up-firing speakers.

These more bespoke displays certainly aren’t for everyone, but if you like the idea of your TV being displayed like a picture in a gallery, they might be well worth looking into. If you can stomach the likely high price tags, that is.

The Frame: 2022’s The Frame is aimed at customers who want their TV to double up as a focal point in their home. This new version features an anti-glare, samsung 2022 display panel that emulates viewing a picture in a gallery environment when you’re not watching TV.The Frame also comes in a wide range of sizes, from 32 inches to 85 inches. The Serif: This 2022 Samsung Lifestyle TV features a matte frame to accompany its matte display - the same that’s featured on The Frame.

Details are slim for The Serif right now, but we do know that Samsung is adding a new 65-inch variant to its line-up. The Sero: While we weren’t impressed with the original The Sero Lifestyle TV and felt it was a tad gimmicky, 2022’s new Multi Samsung 2022 mode could finally help this vertical-capable TV stand out from its counterparts.

This mode will allow users to engage in multiple tasks at once, such samsung 2022 watching the next big Netflix show while looking up news online. Samsung TV 2022: the all-new Smart Hub (Image credit: Samsung) Samsung’s 2022 smart TV user interface is seeing a major overhaul, with samsung 2022 new features and updates coming to Smart Hub, aimed at giving users far greater control over their viewing preferences and experience.

The new Smart Hub sidebar allows for quick and easy transitioning between different viewing modes for media, gaming and ambient entertainment. A new Watch Together app will also let friends and family video chat and watch content from the source TV, no matter where they are. Plus, an enhanced Smart Calibration feature offers two modes of picture optimization. The Basic mode readies your TV for general viewing in roughly 30 seconds. However, the more interesting Professional mode fully optimizes the screen, and should ensure you’re viewing or gaming with the best picture quality possible.

The process does take around 10 minutes, however, so here’s hoping the extended wait is worth the results. Rounding out the currently announced Smart Hub additions is a new NFT Platform allowing for the discovery, purchase and selling of digital goods. It remains to be seen how well this feature will be received - or even how committed Samsung will be samsung 2022 it - considering the extremely divisive nature of NFTs in general.

Samsung TV 2022: Gaming Hub Perhaps one of the more interesting features coming to Samsung TVs in 2022 is the new Gaming Hub, which could see them compete with some of the very best TVs for gaming on the market right now, including the LG C1. Gaming Hub combines a number of game streaming services into one platform, including Nvidia GeForce Now, Utomik, Google Stadia and hopefully Amazon Luna in the future.

Think of this as like a streaming stick but for game streaming apps instead of media. What’s the best Samsung TV you can buy today? (Image credit: Samsung) We don’t know when the first of Samsung’s 2022 TVs will be released, but we can expect to see various samsung 2022 and discounts for many TVs in its 2021 line-up as we lurch further into the year.

There are many 2021 Samsung TVs that are still worth buying, many of which are featured in our samsung 2022 4K TV and best 8K TV buying guides. However, if you’re in the market for one of the best Samsung TVs right now, none shine brighter than the Samsung QN95A Neo QLED 4K TV. This stunning television is arguably the culmination of everything the Korean brand has achieved over the years with its displays, featuring mini-LED technology for a stunningly colorful and accurate picture quality.

Its success is the likely reason Samsung is forging ahead with mini-LED tech, given the improvements coming that we’ve highlighted above. • Samsung vs LG TV: which TV brand is better?  Samsung has already launched several phones this year, so there are plenty of new options to choose from. The Galaxy S21 FE debuted in January, followed by the Galaxy S22 lineup in February and the recently announced Galaxy A53 5G, a midrange model with debuted in the spring.

All of these phones have a long life cycle ahead of them since they're still new. 8:29 That means samsung 2022 an ideal time to consider buying if you're in the market for a new device. Samsung also committed to supporting four generations of Android and Samsung operating system updates on these devices, which is an improvement from its previous three-year pledge.

Samsung typically announces its new Galaxy S phones in the first quarter of the calendar year, meaning the Galaxy S22 lineup is still new and should feel fresh for a while. Finding the best Samsung 2022 phone will ultimately come down to preference. Choosing between so many options can get complicated, so here's how to decide which Samsung phone is best for you.

Biggest screen and best camera The $1,200 Galaxy S22 Ultra is Samsung's most expensive phone that isn't a folding phone. With its giant 6.8-inch screen and four-lens camera, it's best for those who want the largest screen and best camera possible in a new Samsung phone.

Unlike last year's model, the Galaxy S22 Ultra also comes with Samsung's S Pen stylus at no additional cost, just like Samsung's older Galaxy Note devices. At 6.8 inches, samsung 2022 Galaxy S22 Ultra is noticeably larger than the 6.6-inch Galaxy S22 Plus and 6.1-inch Galaxy S22.

The camera is also one of the biggest reasons you should consider this phone over Samsung's smaller and cheaper devices.

While all three new Galaxy S22 phones can take better photos in the dark and have improved color and contrast, the S22 Ultra is the only one with two telephoto lenses. As a result, the S22 Ultra has the closest zoom of any Samsung phone -- and perhaps any phone, period.

It also has a 108-megapixel main sensor similar to the one in last year's phone, along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera and the two 10-megapixel zoom lenses. The Galaxy S22's high price and large size are probably too much for most people, and its battery life could be better.

But for those who love big screens and who really want a superior zoom camera and the S Pen for taking notes, the S22 won't disappoint. Just the right size The Galaxy S22 Plus is the middle child of the Galaxy S22 lineup, but don't overlook it. Its 6.6-inch screen size is just right for most people, it has samsung 2022 sharp new glass-and-metal design and the camera has gotten a major upgrade compared with the S21 generation. Although it's a bit pricey at $1,000, it feels like the right option for those who want a screen that's big but not gigantic paired with one of the best cameras around. Many of the updates Samsung made across the Galaxy S22 lineup are iterative, like the phones' new processors and refreshed designs.

But the jump from the Galaxy S21's 12-megapixel camera to the S22's 50-megapixel camera is perhaps the most noticeable improvement. Both the Galaxy S22 Plus and regular Galaxy S22 have this new camera system, along with other internal camera enhancements, which results in better low-light performance, color and detail. The Galaxy S22 Plus also lasted the longest in CNET's battery test of Samsung's Galaxy S22 phones, although battery life still felt average rather than impressive. Overall, the Galaxy S22 Plus is the best choice for those who want a premium phone with a top-notch camera and a large, bright screen.

For people who prefer smaller phones Android users don't have much choice when it comes to small phones, but Samsung is changing that with the Galaxy S22. The standard Galaxy S22 has a 6.1-inch screen, whereas many competing Android phones have displays that measure around 6.4 inches or larger.

The $800 Galaxy S22 otherwise brings many of the same benefits as the Galaxy S22 Plus. That includes a 50-megapixel camera with better samsung 2022 photography, a new processor and a revamped design that feels more elegant than the S21. It's essentially a smaller version of the Galaxy S22 Plus, except the Plus also has a bigger battery, faster charging and ultrawideband support. The Galaxy S22 is the best option for those who want a more compact phone that still has most of the premium features found in Samsung's bigger and more expensive phones.

Just keep in mind that the Galaxy S22's smaller size also comes along with shorter battery life than the S22 Plus and S22 Ultra. Flagship tech at a more approachable price The first S20 FE seriously impressed us with its balance of performance and price, and the new Galaxy S21 FE takes that further with a solid triple camera, a vibrant display and the same powerful processor found in the flagship S21. It has a 6.5-inch screen, making it an ideal choice for those who want a phone that's larger than the regular Galaxy S22 without the Galaxy S22 Plus' high price.

Although it's missing some of the Galaxy S22's bells and whistles -- like improved night photography and a newer processor -- this phone has a sharper front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy S21 FE faces some tough competition from Google's Pixel 6, but if you're after a great overall Samsung phone and don't want to pay top dollar for the flagships, then the S21 FE is well worth considering. Midrange value New for 2022, the Galaxy A53 gets you a plethora of Samsung features and power at a fraction of the S-series price. It boasts a far larger screen and more versatile camera cluster than the iPhone SE, though Apple's budget model delivers snappier performance. Still, Samsung fans will appreciate what they're getting here considering the affordable price.

The Galaxy A53 5G has an ultrawide lens for taking photos with a broader field of view and also supports night-mode photography. Image quality isn't as good as what you'd get on a more expensive Samsung phone like the Galaxy S21 FE or Galaxy S22, but it's certainly clear and colorful enough for basic shots.

Other highlights include a long-lasting battery, four guaranteed generations of Android operating system updates and a microSD card slot for expandable storage. Overall, the Galaxy A53 5G is a suitable choice for those who prioritize having a large screen and long battery life for less than $500. Just keep in mind you might have to deal with some occasional lag, and the camera isn't samsung 2022 advanced as those found on pricier phones.

It's still essentially a tablet that folds in half to become a phone, but this smartphone has an improved hinge, better specs all round, 5G connectivity and a bigger display on the outside that actually makes it usable as a phone. Folding Samsung Galaxy phones may not be to samsung 2022 taste and they certainly come at a premium, but if you're after a futuristic foldable, the Z Fold 3 is the best one to buy.

When open, this Samsung Galaxy smartphone has a big 6.7-inch display, but fold it in half and it becomes a small square that's easy to slide into a jeans or jacket pocket. We like its neat design, along with its decent all-round specs and 5G connectivity and it's a more affordable folding option among Samsung Galaxy phones.

Affordable, 5G and a big screen The A42 5G Android phone sits just below the A52, provides less RAM, loses the macro camera and has a lower-resolution front-facing camera. It still has 5G connectivity though, along with a bigger battery and a marginally bigger display, which could make it a great affordable Samsung phone option for those of you who watch a lot of videos on the move.

Samsung's cheapest 5G phone If 5G speeds are your top Android phone priority but you don't want to spend much money, Samsung's Galaxy A32 5G is where you should be looking. Its low price makes it one of the cheapest 5G-enabled Samsung Galaxy phones that it's possible to buy right now, and you still get a big 6.5-inch display and a multiple rear camera setup. It's not challenging the overall performance of the S21 line, but it's a solid all-rounder device for the money.

The Galaxy A12 is one of the cheapest phones Samsung sells and it's the one to consider for those of you who simply want a phone for all of life's essentials. If you don't care for extravagant cameras or supercomputer-levels of processing power, you won't have to pay for them with this model. It doesn't have 5G, but it does have four rear cameras, a 6.5-inch display and a capacious 5,000-mAh battery. Given the generally low demands of the specs, that battery samsung 2022 easily last a full day.

The camera is one of the biggest factors that distinguishes the Galaxy A12 from Samsung's other less expensive phones. During CNET's testing, the Galaxy A12 took noticeably better photos than the cheaper Galaxy A03S and Galaxy A02S, especially in low light.

Just remember you'll likely have to buy a microSD card since the A12 only comes with 32GB of built-in storage. Samsung also recently launched the Galaxy A13, which has 5G, more storage and a sharper 50-megapixel camera, which could be worth considering when searching for Samsung Galaxy phones.
